Pictures of Home

"Home" - Great Word ~ Great Feeling ...

Posted by Picasa We are unpacked! We are feeling settled! Friends are beginning to trickle in regularly! These windows hold the most breathtaking view of the Bitteroot Range!

The house is older. We kinda love its odd quirks though!

Wow! I want to come visit! Are you all unpacked now??? Did you get rid of your mountain of paper???

How is your heart? Are you still going back to Moses Lake? How are the kids doing?

I am continuing to pray for you.

Shari - YES! All unpacked except for things that don't matter. Mt. Paper has been banished, Tof is starting a fire with some as we speak (or type). COME!
My heart becomes more and more attatched to this body and these people with each moment it seems. I don't miss ML. I hope many come to see us, I hope the relationships from there never fade, but I have no desire to return. The kids are all loving it too. Tofer has been snowboarding with the college kids, stayed the night with 2 guys around his age, had another to stay the night here, went hiking and hung out for the day with another gutarist. He is flourishing. Cassia has been latched onto by several of the college girls. They have asked her to several events and she is going to begin going to Bible study with them. She has been asked to babysit 2 times already, and is checking into job and college classes. An english professor happens to attend our church and has offered to teach her privately. She is bossoming before our eyes. Minda has made several friends. She spent the night with the girls from youth group and helps in nursery during second service. She is babysitting also. God is blessing so abundantly I am (here's the word again - I need to find another one) OVERWHELMED!
You must come. We're heading to ML Friday to go to Daddy's Memorial. Will you all meet us at Starbucks?

Come On Whittakers!! Snow, skiing, boarding, skating, hockey this time of year. Spring is the time to visit Yellowstone! One hour to the gate from our place. Summer means hikes, whitewater, rockclimbing, and campin'! You pick - we'll leave the light on for ya!

Wow, that is lovely, even beautiful. Far better than our view of Seoul...

Deea,

I am just now reading your reply. Are you back home yet. How did the memorial go? How are you? I should call but you are probably sleeping now so I won't. Tomorrow, Wednesday, we are headed down to Dillon, to check out our winter camp. Friday, we head to Wenatchee. I would love to connect. Thinking about you.
