What beautiful scenery. Yes we got your Christmas letter-it was great. Dan read your last letter and then came to me and said,"wouldn't it be wonderful if we could surprise the Pauls with a visit. Yes-but I am a wife, woman and mother and do know that surprise visits are not always the best. So we are just waiting to get some time off. Hopefully like a Thursday and a Friday and stay for the weekend and go to church with you. Promise I will give you a heads up. I'm thinking maybe end of Febuary or end of March. I'll keep you posted. ALRIGHT!!! Honestly Shelly, I love surprises, but thanks for giving me a general idea! I can't wait to have you! We just got more snow last night - that is 2 feet in the last 3 days. It has been a strange winter here though. The weather gets warms and melts most of it during the day and then we get more at night.
Normally there is no thaw until April/May! I'm so glad you'll stay for church. I can show you off! :o) Love ya! D
I think you have us beat for sunsets. Because we leave on a mountainside once the sun goes behind the hill we don't actually see the sunset. The sunrise on the other hand is great. We are getting more snow even as I type this. We only have about an inch right now. We tend to get an inch or two and then it melts and we get another inch or two. I don't think we have had more than 4 or 5 inches at one time all winter.
We are excited and counting down the days!

We are so blessed to get a view of BOTH sunrise and sunset! The house faces South. So Sunrise in on our left and setting on our right! Whoever built it knew what they were doing!
