UPDATE on Cassia's Trip

I'm driving. I'm nervous. The farthest I've ever driven is about 5 hours from Portland to Moses Lake by myself. Portland I knew my way to and around... Minnesota I've never even seen or set foot in!
But this means Cassia isn't going alone, and it will be only 30 hours of driving instead of 50 hours on a Greyhound. :o)
J is calling us Thelma and Louise - let's hope not!
We are going to need all your prayers ~ during the preparations, during the drive, during the Campus Preview, for the fam. staying behind, for the vehicle, and anything else you can think of to cover!
God is well able, I know. Just trying to get as many people petioning Him on our behalf as possible!
Thanks everyone!

Hi Deea,
Thanks for the update! You will do great and you don't go alone!! I can speak from experience after having been around the world and back!! Also, your husband and kids at home do fine even though they will miss you.
We have LOTS of wonderful stories to tell and we are on experience overload right now!
See you when you return!
Love, Andrea

It's so exciting to watch how the lives of children you've known as they grow. I know God will be faithful to you on this trip as He always is.
Grace and peace,
Lorraine

Deea,
mapquest.com, baby! (0:
You can drive and Cassia can navigate. We use it all the time and it has never let us down before.
Good to hear that things have changed; seems like for the better. I'm sure that Cassia is more at ease with you taking her than going by herself. I think that's great. I will keep praying for your needs.
I hope you are all well. I think of you and your family often. Please give them all a big hello from me and the family.

I've been praying and it is so relieving to hear that the bus ride is out. I went by bus by myself to New Mexico when I turned 13, and even though there was a stewardess on the Trailways bus, there were plenty of dangers then. Will Cassia spell you driving on the longer freeway stretches? Thanks for sharing your requests and needs. God will provide, a testimony of His unmeasurable love and care. Love Always, Mary

Halleluia! I'm so glad things worked out for you to go with her. I'm sure she'll do so much better with you there to be a support. I am confident that you will do just fine on the road.
Blessings,
Peggy

This plan does sound better, and by searching on Internet, a good deal on motel should be easy enough to find....we do it all the time and the internet rates are usually cheaper. Well, don't know what happened to the rest of what I was writing when I put this link up...its so long it took the rest of my message to cyberspace I guess!!! I love Google maps and this Google one when I kept clicking the little hand around that area, went to far as to show me the street the college is on. Anyway, lets keep praying and your plan will steadily improve I think. Love you much, Donna and John
