It's a handmade Christmas this year, but this machine is helping me.
I'm not a fabulous seamstress, but I do love to watch a project come together and see it being used by the one I took the time to create it for. There is something so elementally pleasurable in watching little ones wear, play with, snuggle under, and love what you put together with your 2 hands, from your heart, just for them.

Ooooh - you have a serger! Nice.
It's Malinda's. My mom gave her the serger and me the sewing machine. I don't know why, but I like it. It means we do a lot of sewing together!
Excellent! And so wonderful that you get to sew alongside each other. Lovely colors, too.
I was just going to ask when you got a serger! I need to inherite one of those! I probably would only use it once or twice a year but sometimes it would make things much easier!
