Ha! The Chesterton passage is making me laugh this morning, after a month of packing our entire house, and two days into unpacking. At the moment I'm feeling squarely in the "accumulate more and more" camp. :)
Yes. When we moved into this house and it was so much smaller than where we had been living we downsized to the basics and yet when I began packing boxes I was thinking how much more I could do without (or at least replace on the other end rather than dragging it 3/4 of the way across America). We did keep the 'desire less' in mind while buying gifts this year though. :)
